Emma & Andre – Pre Wedding Shoot

December 21st, 2012

Here are a few teasers of Emma & Andre’s pre-wedding shoot. I always like to do a pre-wedding shoot with my clients if I can in order for the couple to get used to being in front of the camera.  Most start nervously but end up having a lot of fun, becoming confident in front of the camera.  This then translates into their wedding photos, which are more relaxed and natural.

Joanna, James and Isaac

December 21st, 2012

A few weeks back I had the pleasure of my friends James and Joanna bringing round their little boy Isaac to the house for some photos.  Isaac is just on the verge of walking and so James and Joanna wanted some photos of him before he is up and running and into everything.  Once they start walking they are almost impossible to photograph  – lol!!

Felicity & Michael – a small selection of photos from their wedding.

December 21st, 2012

What can I say about these two, apart from they are an amazingly cool and fun couple.  I had the pleasure of doing 4 engagement shoots with these guys over the course of the 4 seasons and got to know them well.  Having chemistry with your clients really helps make the photos very natural on their wedding day.  They got used to me and how I work and I got to know what they like.  The result – awesome day, awesome photos!!

Subreena & Matt Teasers – Latimer Place Wedding

December 21st, 2012

Subreena & Matt were married and held their reception at the gorgeous Latimer House.  It was very Autumnal, with lovely golden and red leaves scattered all around and Subreena looking amazing in her extremely detailed (and heavy) hand stitched Sari.  Board games were provided for the wedding breakfast and provided much amusement and competition.  In the evening an amazingly talented DJ Tony Winyard got the party started and kept it rocking.

Lucy & Dan – A small selection of Wedding Photos

December 21st, 2012

I’ve been a little slow in updating the blog recently due to having a really busy end of year.  However now I have a little time on my hands here are some updates.  Lucy & Dan got married in October and had a gorgeous day to go with their beautiful venue.

Kirsty & Ben – Tythe Barn Wedding ‘Teaser’ Photos.

August 6th, 2012

Last week I had the absolute pleasure in photographing the wedding of such a fantastic couple, Kirsty & Ben.  The week before we did an engagement shoot to help put Kirsty at ease in front of the camera and to be honest it paid off because she looked absolutely stunning on her wedding day and very relaxed in front of the camera.  Both Ben and Kirsty took everything in their stride and even intermittent showers didnt deter the good spirits that were evident througout the day.  The rain meant we had to be flexible with the photography schedule but hey this is summertime in the UK!!!!!  Congratulations to both of you and have an awesome time in Australia.  See you both when you’re back!!

Emily & James – Engagement Shoot

August 6th, 2012

Yesterday I met such a lovely couple Emily and James at Coombe Hill near Aylesbury to do their engagement shoot prior to their wedding next month.  It was touch and go with the weather as there was thunder and lightening in the air but I think we were all pleasantly surprised by the beautiful warm sunshine on top of Coombe Hill.

Kirsty & Ben – Engagement Shoot

July 30th, 2012

On a gorgeously sunny summers evening last week Kirsty Ben and I headed out to a few locations in order to do their engagement shoot.  Kirsty was a little nervous of the camera initially but definitely got used to being in front of the camera by the end of the shoot.  I must admit, the quintessentially English countryside with its golden wheat fields was my favourite place we went, but dont tell the farmer!!

Michelle & James – Teaser Photos

July 30th, 2012

Super fun couple Michelle & James were married at the lovely ‘Horwood House’ on the 14th July.  Despite rain in the morning, spirits weren’t dampened and rightly so as the rain stopped and the sun came out.  The bouncy castle was put to good use, Miss Ballooniverse kept everyone entertained with her amazing balloon creations and James during the first dance was a sight to behold!!  Great day guys, thank you!

Juliette & David

July 18th, 2012

Juliette and David are from Switzerland, live in Dubai and got married in London, the reason being is that London is where they met. Its a funny story on how they met but I wont bore you with the details, suffice to say that they are a terrific and fun couple who were great fun on their wedding day.  A lovely ceremony in Knightbridge was followed by a ‘London Bus’ journey to ‘The Orangery’ in Holland Park before returning to ‘Mossimans’ restaurant in Belgravia for the evening celebrations.  I have to admit that hearing ‘lovely jubbly’ in a Swiss accent still makes me chuckle!!
